Our Story

DETROIT
BEEN RUNNING

Where The Run At started with one simple question and turned into a movement. For over 10 years, we have been building Detroit women's basketball from the ground up.

No politics. No cliques. Just real runs with real players. We created space when there was none, built community when it was needed most, and kept Detroit women hooping through every season.

From weekly runs to tournament play, youth development to city-wide events, WTRA is the 313's home for women's basketball. We are not just a league. We are a culture.

Programming

WHAT WE
RUN

Open Runs

Weekly runs for women 16 and up. Come by yourself, get placed, and hoop. No squad needed. $5 drop-in at Chandler Park.

Skills Training

Structured skill development led by Coach Shawn and Coach Nuk. Individual sessions, group workouts, and elite invite-only sessions.

Leagues + Tournaments

Organized competition in a format built for real players. Team-based leagues, tournament play, and cash prize events throughout the year.

Community

Watch parties, vendor events, city activations, and building the culture around Detroit women's basketball. More than a league.
